HVAC Concepts Announces the Promotion of Rory McQuillen to Engineering/Design Manager

 

FREDERICK, MD (May 25, 2018) – HVAC Concepts (www.hvacc.net), a leading provider of Systems Integration, Building Automation Systems, Energy Management Systems, Advanced Analytics, and 24/7 Remote Monitoring and Alarm Management services for commercial buildings and critical facilities, announced today the promotion of Rory McQuillen to Engineering/Design Manager.

In this role, McQuillen is responsible for the engineering and design of all projects, including scheduling, job assignment and working directly with the Operations Manager and Projects Management team to plan and schedule projects, so that each is completed on time and within budget.

A main objective of HVAC Concepts is to provide customers with unparalleled, excellent customer service. To ensure that each project is handled with such diligence, McQuillen will lead training and development efforts among team members, as well as work closely with human resources to hire top-tiered talent. McQuillen will also proactively provide and develop technical solutions for both team members and customers.

Prior to his new role, McQuillen served as a Senior Application Engineer, where he designed and implemented commercial building management systems. He has been a member of the HVAC Concepts team for nine years and has 10 years of industry experience.

McQuillen is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also earned an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Frederick Community College. McQuillen also holds a number of professional certificates, including a Niagara AX Certification, a Niagara N4 Certification and an OSHA 10 Certification.
